Competitions

The following competitions are offered in Mid Canterbury.  There is a mix of social & competitive competitions for both adults and children. 

Junior Interclub

Played on Saturday mornings at 9 am.  Players must be affiliated to a local Tennis Club & be registered in a team.

Open Grade Interclub

Competitive Interclub games played in the afternoons at the Ashburton Trust Tennis Centre. Players must be affiliated to a local Tennis Club and be registered in a team.

Twilight Tennis

Twilight Tennis is a fun doubles competition played Wednesday evenings from 5.30 pm to approximately 7 pm at the Ashburton Trust Tennis Centre.  

Russell Moon & Fail Lawyers Sunset Doubles

A Business House Competitive competition played on Thursday evenings at the Ashburton Trust Tennis Centre.  Teams consist of four players and play three rounds. 

Seniors

Any person 35 yrs and over is eligible to play Seniors Tennis.  Players of any ability are welcome. Every effort is made to have people playing others of a similar ability.  The aim is to have fun playing and to enjoy socialising with other tennis players.

Mixed Masters

Social adult competition played on Saturday afternoons at 1 pm on the grass courts at Allenton Tennis Club.  This is a doubles only competition.
